The Lovebox Community And How It All Started
It all started back in 2015 when our French founder, Jean, left for MIT in Boston to research robotics while his fiancee Melodie stayed in France. He wanted to find a way to send not only messages, but his love regardless of the distance. That's how Lovebox was born, built in a makerspace in France. Today, more than 350,000 people have joined our community.

How can I offer a Lovebox to someone who lives far away?+
There is no limit distance between the sender and the Lovebox. It does not matter how far you are from it, you will still be able to send messages. Give them in person or ship it to them and ask them the secret code so that you can send them messages!
Do I need an internet connection for the Lovebox to work?+
Yes! WiFi provides LoveBox with the internet connection necessary to send and receive love notes in real time.
If you live in a place where WiFi goes through a connection portal or if you want to connect the Lovebox to a shared network (in a company or a retirement home for example), we have a solution for you. But the Lovebox can't connect to a 5GHz WiFi.
Who can I gift a Lovebox to?+
You can gift the Lovebox to anyone you love: your children, your other half, your best friend, your parents, and your grandparents so they can receive messages from all of their grandchildren. Lovebox is easy to use and allows everyone to stay connected to those they love!
How many people can be connected to a Lovebox?+
The Lovebox creates an intimate experience where messages can be sent from an unlimited number of loved ones. You can connect as many people as you want and receive infinite love. To do this, communicate the "secret code" available on your Lovebox to all the people you want to send you messages. All they have to do is download the application and add your Lovebox with the secret code.
What can I send to my Lovebox?+
LOTS OF LOVE!
With the Color & Photo option, you can receive text messages, photos, stickers and drawings. It's the best way to express your love and creativity!
With the Basic Black & White option, you can send unlimited text messages and black & white drawings. If you're not sure, don't worry you can upgrade to the Color & Photo option later (although you'll get a better deal buying it now)!
What happens if I cancel my Color & Photo subscription?+
If you cancel your Color & Photo subscription, your Lovebox will continue to work but with limited functionality:
• You can still send and receive text messages
• You can still create black & white drawings
• You will no longer be able to send photos or colored messages until you reactivate your Color & Photo subscription
You can reactivate your Color & Photo subscription at any time to regain access to all features.

What happens when we sent several messages in a row to a Lovebox?+
The messages will be displayed on the order they have been sent as a slideshow!
